Why Isner is hard to Nadal

If John Isner serves good as he usually does, he is almost always serve, forcing the set into a tie-break, where continued strong service and only one large return can win him a set. Isner won two sets in his 6-4, 6-7 (2), 6-7 (2), 6-2, 6-4 marathon against Rafael Nadal at Roland Garros on Tuesday and almost scored a historic break. John is a difficult opponent to at Rafa, in addition to his huge serve, which is difficult for everyone, because he shrinks one of Nadals main weapon. Nadal's forehand has more topspin than almost everyone in tennis history, and he uses to spin force opponents to meet higher than they want the ball, but at 6 ' 9 ", Isner likes a higher than most, and with a both backhand and Novak Djokovic ball, he is even less vulnerable. Nadals recipe marketing plan Roger Federer at Roland Garros, kicking the ball on his One-handed backhand, is not nearly as effective against an extremely high two-hander like Inser--or against a fairly high rate of two-hander like Djokovic.
